When I first joined the National Cockatiel Society, I really didn't know what to expect from my membership, other than opportunity to participate in the chat boards and look forward to receiving the Journal that is filled with information. What a wonderful surprise for me when we started exhibiting our birds. We met new people, many who were also new to exhibiting cockatiels. We found mentors in the Advanced exhibitors and friendship in the Novice exhibitors. As we branch out further south for shows this year, we look forward to meeting many more breeders & exhibitors, putting faces to the names we see posting on the boards.
