June 18, 2011 - Shermans Dale, PA - 2 NCS Shows
Duff went Best in Show under Royce Irwin - earning him Champion! Duff only needs 21 points to become a Grand Champion. Duff went 8th Best in show under Julia Allen.
Harley went Co-9th Best in Show under Royce Irwin and Co-10th Best in Show under Julia Allen.

| Update: 10/30/10 - Harley became a Grand Champion under Judge Leslie Huegerich at the Chester County Bird Show in Exton, PA. The second show, she needed to compete with the other Grand Champions and went co-7th her first time out as a Grand Champion. This was our last show as a Novice Exhibitor. 2011 - we move up to Advanced and look forward to next year's show season.
Harley became a Champion on July 11, 2010, under Judge Annette Howard at the Delco Bird Club Show in Delaware. We plan on showing Harley this Fall, trying to earn the title of Grand Champion before this year's show season is done. I also earned Advanced Exhibitor with Pebbles being placed on the Top Bench at this show. We will finish the year as Novice, then move up January 1st, 2011. She also placed Best Novice and 2nd Best in Show under Judge Royce Irwin earlier that day.
It will be a challenging fall for competition. We recently moved 430 miles from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania, and the birds are living in hotter than normal conditions while their bird room is being built. We have our fingers crossed that the birds don't go into an early molt with this heat.

July 18th, 2009: Delco Bird Club - Dual Show, Media, PA
We traveled to Media, PA to participate in the Delco Bird Club show. There were two shows held Saturday, July 18th. I developed an electronic Secretary and Judges form and we tried it out for these two shows. Everyone was please with the new age format and the Judges were impressed with their easy to read, printed show reports!

RDCBS - Specialty and Double Points Show

We traveled 16 hours to Raleigh, NC to attend the Specialty and Double Points show! What a great opportunity to see so many wonderful birds being exhibited. Competition was really tough in this show!

We are a member of NCS - National Cockatiel Society and just competed in our very first group of shows this Labor Day weekend! We took our very first hatch, Magellan to the show. Magellan was only 6-months old at the time of the show and did very well for his first time out! This was a Triple Show sponsored by NECBE. Magellan placed in the first and third show.

We traveled to New Hampshire for the Birds of a Feather Club Bird Show & the NECBE Cockatiel Show. We took 4 birds with us to show. Baby #4, Egg, Duff and Asher! All the birds did well in their show cages, and we managed to place some birds on the Novice Bench as well!
